Do Texas Roadhouse Servers Make Good Money

Waiters who work at Texas Roadhouse, how much do average an hour, including tips?

I am thinking of getting a waiter job there
I will probably work anywhere from 20-30 hours a week
Will I be able to make at least $300 a week

Casual places like this you should be looking to make $50-100 a night except on Fridays and Saturdays where you'll make $100+. If you work 4 shifts a week and pick up a 5th, you should be fine making $300 a week. Now the real question: what is your locale? Is it is nice area where you'll get good people or is it a terrible town with losers who won't tip? If you're in a nicer area, try working at a locally owned bar or restaurant. Much better tips usually as you'll have more tables and probably better clientele. All in all, I've worked at an outback and it was super simple and easy. at most is make $150 on a Friday shift. But then I worked for a local place that was a little bit pricier. I made $250 a night on the weekends. I even made almost $800 one time where I closed down the bar when we had live music.

The restaurant is right in the middle of a busy area with many different shops and lots of people.
I work a part time job every other weekend. I make 14.56 an hour, and work 8 hours Saturday and Sunday. That comes to about $180 a weekend post tax. Would I make more money working the weekend shift. My only concern is that tips can potentially vary wildly, whereas my other job pays me the same amount every time.

Right now I work at a similar restaurant and can usually make 120 per night on the weekend and then during the week like 100 but it just depends on how busy it is. The restaurant I work at has a horrible location so sometimes it won't be the busy.

if you work 20-30 hours a week, you should not make less than 300- depending on your location and your weekly specials. none of my servers work 20-30 hours and only make 300. spend a lot of time with your guests, upsell at every point and TXRH will be great for you. as a company they also really take care of their people- best company to work for!
